How Aqua Waves began
Aqua Waves began with the shared dream of Sara Gijón and Beatriz Gavira, two women devoted to artistic swimming who decided to turn years of dedication into a singular project.
After a path shaped by sporting excellence, they saw a reality: artistic swimming is a sport of immense beauty, yet with few professional opportunities once the competitive stage ends. From that concern Aqua Waves was born: a space where talent stays alive and art finds a new stage.
Their mission is to carry the most artistic, moving essence of this sport beyond competition, turning water into a canvas where dance, music and expression come to life. Every show is designed to move, surprise and create unforgettable moments.
Where a pool was once merely part of the facilities, Aqua Waves turns it into the heart of the event, a living stage where water stops being an element and becomes the protagonist.
